Just figured out that if BR is 0 then plague won't fire....freaking cheesy.

read the description of BR, none of the blood skills will fire without BR active just like you have to have the doll active for the voodoo skills. Honestly, if you didn't have to have them active, and you could just start with your kills on the VP they would be way over powered. Just my opinion.
