Confirmed: It zooms in when your attack does damage equal to (or greater than) 25% of your opponent's health.

Well... the zoom is the zoom and the screen shake is the screen shake. While I agree that the zoom in can be a little shaky (shaky enough that a couple of people thought the screen was shaking to indicate a critical hit), they are different visual effects. And I don't know of any plans to add another indication of a critical hit.

Okay then don't add another indication, simply change the indication. The 2 different concepts are too closely related and really cause problems because there could be a shake and a zoom, a zoom with no shake, or no zoom with a shake. The zoom with or without a shake look almost identical.

And the plot thickens. BTW - that is actually 13.4% damage but still under 25% so should be no zoom.

Maybe if the screen zoom takes place if the damage was supposed to be higher?

But then when the damage ignores the crit portion, the damage is under 25%?
